We had completed another summer house here. Same layout but different style. Very soft and creamy colour scheme. The rustic stone walls are the accent of the house.

Over the years Hung Wan restaurant has established quite a reputation for itself, and now the restaurant is expanding and bringing with it a new look in hopes of attracting customers from a younger demographic. The restaurant’s interior has been revamped with a vibrant, energetic design that gives the restaurant a younger, fresher look. Grey laminated glass used to divide booths are a sleek and modern touch, and perforated bronze backdrops inspired by the restaurant’s logo are used to decorate […]

Bay window is very common in Hong Kong housing architecture. It is nice if the apartment is spacious but it is a headache to the designer for small space. How to use the bay window?

Contemporary style. Very spacious apartment and seek new space planning for the upper floor, namely master and son’s bedroom. About half of the area became the master bedroom. Not only equipped with basic thing like, sleeping bed, bathroom and study, the master bedroom had extra area to put book cases and a small table as play area.

This is it. My first time to do restaurant design under a well known design company, Joseph Sy & Associates. Typical Chinese restaurant in China, many private dining rooms with separated pantry and washroom, tiny open dining space. China people still prefer dine in private showing their generous hospitality. Display kitchen showing barbecued pork is essential element in local Chinese restaurant. Total 26 private dining rooms identified in 4 colour schemes and a piano bar with 8 karaoke rooms attached.

I love this project. It’s clean. It’s earthy. It’s poetic.

That’s was the first time a local client went up to me and specified that she wanted “modern baroque” style for the 2500 square feet home in Hong Kong. I was very excited since it was a chance to try something I was not used to. White, grey and light pink are the colour scheme the client and I come up with, but soon we find out not easy to achieve baroque style in nowadays since the craftsmanship is not […]

Tiny Apartment Area: 267 square feet My goal: compact but not claustrophobic; having certain storage for one signal person. Reduce the circulation space and each furniture serves multi-function.

My old friend asked me to do her newly bought apartment. Net area 600 square feet, preferred open planning, since only two full windows at the back side of the apartment. Client came up with an idea to lift up the sleeping bed so the area on ground level was maximized. Very interesting concept! Honestly sleeping is sleeping, no need to have the best location.

A new client called and asked me to do an interior design proposal of a jewelry shop in Shenzhen. Referred by my schoolmate, so I agreed to do some sketches to show his clients even the contract not yet settled. The jewelry shop was not open to public, was operated like an office, for the buyers to choose the jewelry collection by appointment only. The area was about 5000 square feet and was a long rectangle shape. Therefore, I decided […]
